Biography

Turma do Pagode is a prominent Brazilian samba and pagode band formed in 1994 in the neighborhood of Parada Inglesa, located in the North Zone of São Paulo. The group's current lineup features Leiz on tantã and vocals, Caramelo on banjo and vocals, Rubinho on pandeiro, Tiago and Neni on percussion, Marcelinho TDP on cavaquinho, Leandro Filé on acoustic guitar, and Fabiano on surdo. Encouraged by singer Netinho de Paula, who also gave the group its name, they released their debut live album in 2001 and gradually built a massive following across Brazil with their infectious rhythms and romantic lyrics.

Over the decades, Turma do Pagode has collaborated with and shared the stage with numerous legendary figures in Brazilian music, including Djavan, Leci Brandão, Péricles, Jorge Aragão, Almir Guineto, Dudu Nobre, Arlindo Cruz, and Thiaguinho. Their breakthrough came with major radio hits like "Lancinho," which dominated charts for months and solidified their mainstream appeal. Albums such as Esse É o Clima, Turma do Pagode XV Anos, and the Misturadin series further cemented their legacy by blending classic 1990s and 2000s pagode styles with contemporary influences alongside special guests like Belo, Leandro Lehart, Reinaldo, and the iconic group Fundo de Quintal.

Today, the band continues to tour extensively throughout Brazil, drawing millions of fans across digital streaming platforms and social media.
