Valesca Mayssa Barbosa da Silva is a prominent Brazilian contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter, born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo. Raised in a musical environment influenced by her mother, who was a singer and missionary, Valesca began playing the acoustic guitar at age ten and writing her own songs by age twelve. Her profound spiritual connection heavily shapes her musical journey, which began to take formal shape when she was just a teenager.
