Biography
Thiago Veigh da Silva, known professionally as Veigh, is a Brazilian rapper, singer, and songwriter born in Itapevi, São Paulo. Before dedicating himself fully to music, he was a skateboarder and worked in a call center, spending his post-work hours recording rap tracks in downtown São Paulo. He initially formed the duo Constelação at age seventeen alongside his friend Heitor, before eventually launching his solo career and co-founding the Supernova label with producer Nagalli.
His career experienced a significant breakthrough after collaborating with Nagalli and releasing tracks like "Indispensável," which helped him amass millions of Spotify listeners. He gained widespread recognition with successful releases such as "Londres Freestyle," "Vida Chique," and "Movimento," blending personal emotions with social commentary in his lyrical style. Alongside artists like Anitta, he achieved historic milestones for national musicians on streaming platforms.
In 2023, Veigh reached the number one spot on the global Spotify charts with his acclaimed album Dos Prédios Deluxe. This release broke previous records held by Anitta for the biggest debut by a Brazilian national artist on the platform. Continuing his prolific output, he has since released projects such as Mixtape Supernova Vol.1 and Eu Venci o Mundo.
