Vinicius Moreira Castro, also known as "Mamute," is a Brazilian mixed martial artist born on February 28, 1989, in Planaltina, Federal District, Brazil. He competes in the light heavyweight division and is recognized for his grappling prowess, holding a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Moreira began his martial arts journey with jiu-jitsu in 2006, inspired by the legendary Minotauro Nogueira. After a period of demotivation, he transitioned to mixed martial arts in 2015, making his professional debut the following year. He built an early career fighting predominantly in the Brazilian regional circuit and also competed in India for the Super Fight League, achieving an 8-1 record before gaining wider recognition.

His career took a significant turn when he competed in Dana White's Contender Series Brazil 3 on August 11, 2018. Moreira secured a victory via triangle choke submission, earning him a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He made his UFC debut on January 19, 2019, against Alonzo Menifield, and has since faced other notable opponents within the promotion.
