Biography

Lukas Rafael Hespanhol Ruiz, known artistically as Vintage Culture, was born in Mundo Novo, Mato Grosso do Sul, on July 7, 1993. Raised amidst the agricultural routine and initially isolated from the urban music scene, he found in hard trance CDs brought by an uncle and software downloaded at internet cafes the starting point for his electronic music productions. He adopted the artistic pseudonym to avoid confusion with other producers and quickly caught the attention of critics by releasing striking remixes that mixed slow beats and references to 1970s and 1980s classics.

The artist's rise gained momentum in the 2010s with covers and original tracks that conquered Brazilian and international dance floors, standing out in the house music and deep house scene. With appearances at major festivals such as Lollapalooza Brazil, Tomorrowland Brazil, and Rock in Rio, Vintage Culture established himself as one of the country's leading electronic music names, achieving expressive positions in specialized rankings such as DJ Magazine's. In addition to his work on stage, he expanded his brand by founding the record label and festival Só Track Boa.

Throughout his career, the producer maintained a strong connection with the aesthetic and musical references of past decades, incorporating elements from artists like Cazuza and international synth-pop and rock groups into his productions. His rapid expansion into the foreign market opened doors for global partnerships and continuous international tours, projecting his sound across several continents and influencing a new generation of Brazilian electronic music producers.
