Biography
Vitor Fernandes is a prominent Brazilian singer and songwriter who emerged as a leading figure in the popularization of piseiro, a faster-paced variation of pisadinha designed for solo dancing. Born in Petrolina, Pernambuco, he spent his childhood working in agriculture and helping out at his family's rural bar before pursuing a professional musical career in his teens. After starting out in the arrocha genre, he fully embraced piseiro in 2019 and quickly rose to national prominence through viral social media hits.
His breakthrough came when his recording of the track "Bebe Vem Me Procurar" went viral, leading to a major collaboration with renowned artist Wesley Safadão. This momentum propelled him to release successful albums such as Diferente de Tudo and Incomparável, while collaborating with other notable figures in the genre like Márcia Fellipe. Known widely as the "King of Piseiro," Vitor Fernandes continues to be a driving force in contemporary Brazilian northeastern popular music.
