Walter Lopes is a prominent Brazilian singer, drummer, composer, and music producer born in São Paulo on April 20, 1965. He is widely recognized as one of the co-founders of the renowned Christian rock band Oficina G3, alongside musicians like Juninho Afram. During his tenure with Oficina G3, which lasted until 2002, he contributed significantly as a drummer and songwriter, participating in landmark albums such as Indiferença and O Tempo.

Following his departure from Oficina G3 due to artistic and ideological differences, Walter embarked on new musical ventures, establishing the alternative band Judas, o Outro and pursuing a solo career with releases like Na Estrada and Reciclável. Over the years, he has continued to expand his artistic horizons, collaborating with artists like PG and Mateus Asato, and participating in reunion tours celebrating Oficina G3's classic records.

In addition to his commercial discography, Walter Lopes has dedicated himself to social projects and ministry through music, leading initiatives such as StreetCross in Londrina alongside his wife, Angélica Rocha. His enduring influence on Brazilian gospel rock and contemporary Christian music remains significant, marked by his technical skill on the drums and his active presence in the national rock scene.
