Biography

Wanderley Luiz Wildner, known artistically as Wander Wildner, was born in Venâncio Aires on September 20, 1959. The singer and songwriter gained national notoriety as the lead singer of the band Os Replicantes, a group of enormous relevance to Brazilian punk rock during the 1980s.

In 1995, the artist began a solid solo career that consecrated him as the creator of the style known as punkbrega. His debut solo album, Baladas Sangrentas, was released in 1996 produced by Tom Capone, paving the way for a succession of works praised by critics and the public.

Throughout his career, Wander has collaborated and shared stages with several exponents of national music, even participating in the Acústico MTV: Bandas Gaúchas project alongside groups like Cachorro Grande and Ultramen. In addition to music, he expanded his artistic work into literature, releasing books such as Aventuras de Um Punkbrega and Canções Iluminadas de Amor.
