Biography

Wandi Doratiotto is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and television presenter born in São Paulo. Coming from a musical family, he grew up in the Lapa neighborhood and studied Music and Artistic Education at the Mozarteum Faculty of São Paulo. He gained widespread recognition as a founding member of the avant-garde comedy-musical group Premeditando o Breque, established in 1976, with which he recorded multiple albums.

Throughout his career, Doratiotto has collaborated with various notable artists, such as Maurício Pereira, Paulo Freire, Swami Jr., and his son Danilo Moraes on the album Miolo Mole. He also formed the musical collaboration known as Três é bom. In addition to his discography, which includes his 2001 independent solo album Pronto, he has maintained a prolific career in acting, television, and radio, famously hosting TV Cultura's live music program Bem Brasil for nearly two decades.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Doratiotto has left a significant mark on Brazilian television, children's programming like Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum, and iconic 1990s television commercials. He has appeared in films such as Sábado and Boleiros: era uma vez o futebol, and engaged in theatrical productions and literature. His multifaceted career reflects a deep connection to Brazilian popular culture and artistic expression.
