Wellington de Oliveira Filho, born on February 13, 1951, in Muzambinho, Minas Gerais, is a prominent Brazilian communicator, renowned for his extensive career in radio and television.

He began his career in the mid-1960s at Rádio Continental in his hometown. Moving to São Paulo in 1971, he became a familiar voice on major radio stations such as Rádio Excelsior, Rádio Globo, Jovem Pan, Rádio Trianon, and Rádio América. Oliveira was also one of the pioneers in presenting "Jornal Hoje" on Rede Globo, and later worked on news programs for TV Record and TV Manchete. His tenure at Rede Globo spanned 15 years, starting as a reporter in 1973.

Beyond his work as a journalist and presenter, Wellington de Oliveira has also established himself as a highly sought-after Master of Ceremonies for conferences, congresses, seminars, inaugurations, and awards ceremonies. He served as the official Master of Ceremonies for the governor of São Paulo for a decade and for FEBRABAN for over 15 years.
