Biography
Weslei Santos is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has established himself as a prominent figure in the contemporary gospel music scene. His musical journey began at the age of 16 when he enrolled in the Conservatório Brasileiro de Música in Manhumirim, Minas Gerais. Initially focusing on drums, he later expanded his skills to include keyboards and, eventually, vocals.
Santos first gained significant recognition as the vocalist and arranger for the band HORA NONA, with whom he toured extensively across Brazil. His talent led him to join the acclaimed gospel project Preto no Branco in 2014, where he contributed as a vocalist and co-wrote the hit song "Eu te Agradeço." This collaboration brought his music to a wider audience, with the song amassing millions of views.
In 2018, Weslei Santos embarked on a solo career, signing with Sony Music. He has since released several singles and EPs, including "Pra Todo Mundo Cantar" and "Doxologia." His solo work showcases his versatility as an artist, producer, and composer, often featuring him playing multiple instruments on his recordings.
