Biography

Wilian Pereira Nascimento was born in Rio de Janeiro on September 12, 1976. He began his musical career in the early 1990s as a vocalist for Grupo Melody, which was later renamed Melosweet. With Melosweet, he achieved moderate success before the group signed with MK Music in 2006 to release their notable album Providência. During this period, he also contributed backing vocals to Fernandinho's acclaimed album Uma Nova História.

In 2008, Nascimento embarked on his solo career and released multiple successful albums, including Lugar mais Alto, Agir de Deus, and Levanta tua voz, the latter two earning gold certifications from ABPD for selling over 40,000 copies each. He gained broader recognition for his interpretations of songs like "Era Você" and his duet "Janelas do Coração" with singer Jessyca. His contributions to contemporary Christian music earned him a nomination at the Troféu Talento in 2009.

Expanding his artistic endeavors, in 2014 he formed Trio Nascimento alongside his cousins Gisele Nascimento and Michele Nascimento, releasing the album Marque uma Geração under the production of Tuca Nascimento. The following year, he released his first romantic compilation album, Falando de Amor, followed by the studio album Não Vou Desistir, which received a Latin Grammy nomination. His ongoing work continues to be a staple in the Brazilian gospel music scene.
