Vinicius William Sales de Lima, better known as WIU, is a prominent Brazilian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer born in Fortaleza. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for hip-hop, eventually replacing video games with music production software during his childhood. By the age of fifteen, he was already releasing his independent tracks online, which eventually led to his breakthrough in 2019 when he joined Matuê's record label 30PRAUM.

As his career progressed, WIU gained widespread acclaim for his work both as a solo artist and as a producer, notably contributing to Matuê's debut album Máquina do Tempo. He released his own debut studio album, Manual de Como Amar Errado, in 2022, featuring hits like "Coração de Gelo" and "Felina". His distinct musical style often bridges traditional hip-hop aesthetics with contemporary Brazilian sounds, collaborating with artists such as Teto.

In 2024, WIU expanded his artistic boundaries with his second studio album, Vagabundo de Luxo, which incorporates experimental trap elements alongside influences from piseiro, funk carioca, and jersey club.
