Biography

Isaac Daniel Júnior, known professionally as Zaac, is a prominent Brazilian singer and songwriter born in Diadema on December 23, 1992. Growing up in the periphery, he balanced working as a general assistant with his early passion for music, drawing initial inspiration from classic Brazilian funk and artists like Claudinho & Buchecha and MC Marcinho. He began recording amateur tracks in 2010 under the moniker MC Isaac, gradually establishing himself within the evolving São Paulo funk scene.

In 2015, he teamed up with Rodrigo Silva dos Santos to form the duo Zaac & Jerry, achieving nationwide fame with the massive hit single "Bumbum Granada" in 2016. After the duo dissolved later that year, Zaac launched a successful solo career with hits like "Vai Embrazando" and collaborations with prominent figures in Brazilian music such as Anitta. His work, frequently produced in partnership with industry leaders like KondZilla, helped define the modern sound of Brazilian funk and crossover pop.

Beyond his solo trajectory, Zaac made history when his collaboration with Anitta and Maejor, "Vai Malandra," became the first Portuguese-language song to enter the Spotify Global Top 50 chart. Over the years, he has continued to expand his musical footprint through high-profile collaborations and television appearances, including participation in reality television in 2024. His distinct vocal style and catchy songwriting remain central to the contemporary urban music landscape in Brazil.
