Biography

Zaynara Damasceno Cruz was born in Cametá and had her first contact with music in childhood, joining Banda Invencíveis, a family group led by her drummer father. Growing up immersed in Pará's culture, she released her first album of brega covers in her teens and later solidified her artistic identity with the album É Beat Melody and the project Delirar.

Throughout her career, the singer expanded her national reach by signing with the record label Sony Music Brasil and collaborating with big names in Brazilian music, such as Pabllo Vittar, Joelma, and Gaby Amarantos. Her prominence in the contemporary scene was crowned when she won the Revelation of the Year award at the Prêmio Multishow de Música Brasileira, in addition to her striking performances at major festivals like The Town.

Recognized for her strong connection to the sounds of Pará's sound systems — such as beatmelody and rock doido —, Zaynara moves with ease between music and acting, having been cast to star in the series Brega Story. She also frequently pays tribute to international references and engages in dialogue with regional artists such as Dona Onete and Raphaela Santos, strengthening the renewal of Pará's music.
