Biography

Zé Ricardo & Thiago is a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in Goiânia, Goiás, in 2009. The members, José Ricardo Alves Martins (Zé Ricardo) and Rogério Luis Barbosa Andraschko (Thiago), met as children at a music school in their hometown. After years of friendship and separate musical experiences, Zé Ricardo invited Thiago to form the duo that would become a success in the national sertanejo scene.

The duo gained notoriety with the release of their first CD, "Rumo ao Horizonte", in 2011, and the following year with the DVD "Ao Vivo em Goiânia", which scored the hit "Sinal Disfarçado". This song, featuring Israel Novaes, reached the top of radio charts throughout Brazil and established itself as one of the biggest hits of Zé Ricardo & Thiago's career, accumulating millions of views on YouTube. The success opened doors for performances at major events, concert venues, and rodeo festivals all over the country, as well as international tours.

Throughout their career, Zé Ricardo & Thiago have released several other hits, such as "Turbinada", "Pode ou Não Pode", and "Tô Ruim". The duo has also collaborated with other renowned artists of the sertanejo genre, such as Cristiano Araújo, Jorge & Mateus, and Gusttavo Lima, with guest appearances on their albums and shows. In 2015, they released the DVD "Onde Tudo Começou" via Sony Music, further consolidating their presence in the Brazilian music market.
